Pilar Soto founded her dance school in Malaga in April 2000, offering Flamenco and Spanish classical dance instruction. The school attracts students of all ages, from 5-year-old children to teenagers and adults who love this art.

The school also prepares young people to establish themselves professionally in this field. Interested individuals can enroll in courses to prepare professionally. During the summer, intensive courses are offered, and there are master classes where numerous teachers and dancers from the Flamenco world visit the school. The school organizes a closing gala every year in summer, where students of Spanish classical dance and Flamenco showcase what they have learned throughout the year. Throughout the school year, students perform in various theaters in Malaga, including the ESAD Theater, the cultural center Villa de Nerja, the Antequera Theater, the Cervantes Theater in Alora, the social service center in Churriana, and the auditorium of the province of Malaga.

In 2013, the school participated in the third edition of the Flamenco Biennial of Malaga, where Pilar Soto gave a master class in Bulerías at Plaza de los Mártires in Malaga. In 2015, Pilar Soto participated in the fourth Flamenco Art Festival Biennial of Malaga in the company of Antonio el Pipa in the show “Gallardía” and presented her own show called “Pincelá” at the same Biennial, with the participation of some of her students.

Pilar Soto, the dancer, started dancing at a young age and began her professional training in Spanish dance at the Conservatory of Malaga at the age of 12. She studied Flamenco for 13 years with the dancer Carmen Juan from Seville, with whom she attended various Flamenco festivals in Malaga. She also took classes with a variety of teachers, including the dancer Pepe Marchena from Seville, with whom Pilar was part of his dance company for a long time. She also took intensive courses with Matilde Coral, Milagros Menjibar, Antonio el Pipa, Concha Jareño, Pepa Molina, among others. Nowadays, she continues her training because she believes that a dancer should never stop learning and that one can learn from everyone—students, colleagues, and great teachers. Therefore, she organizes intensive courses and master classes in her school for anyone who wishes to continue their education, and she herself participates in these intensive classes.
